Hi,

I think I have a very mild form of acne in that some days (every blue moon) I can be *almost* completely clear. But most days my face looks like this...

http://imgur.com/a/AzUAZ <- PICTURES!

95% of the time it only appears around my mouth. Every day I wake up and Im almost guranteed to have a little white pustule in either or both the crease of my chin or crease of my nose. And then I get the odd one every few days just appear somewhere around my mouth. These stay for 2 - 4 days typically. I do get large spots, but rarely and usually my own fault for wresting my chin on my hand or something.

From my nose upwards (apart from the nose crease, shown in photo 2) my skin is perfectly normal and I'm completely satisfied with it.

I usually treat them by either lancing them with a needle to drain them or just by folding some tissue into a point and jabbing at them until they burst and I wipe away the excess. I did used to use fingers and just pop them, but I got scarred at the end of last year and I have banned myself!

I then wash my face in a bowl of luke walm water and sea salt(I've found this to help sooth my skin), then moisturise my face with Simple moisturising cream.

This is done in the morning and at night before bed

I have tried a BP cream, just slathered it in the crease of my chin nightly, but these pustules just appear under it the next day.

I dont touch my face, I dont pick. I have a balanced diet, I do it salt and sugar but I also eat plenty of fruit and veg etc.

The only thing I haven't done yet, is gone and see a doctor. I was trying to fix this myself without anything prescribed, but unless I can think of anything else, thats going to be my next step. Anyone got any ideas what I can try?

Sorry for my crap writing. Im english but I dont flow well when I write!

dude are you kidding me?! You have like 2 whiteheads. Wash your face, and pop the witehead a tissue if they are poppable. Keep the tissue on them until the bleeding stops. Make sure you are exfoliating your skin! Dead skins cells become clogged which forms those whiteheads. I would kill to have your skin right now.

First thank you all for your posts and sharing experiences.

I am constantly developping white pus zits around mouth and chin! I started developing this about a year ago.

Symptoms

---------------

- constant small white pus zits around mouth and chin. dry up in about 2-3 days.

- few more start when one stops!

- red bumps

- redness irritation.

- All these symptoms only around nose , mouth and chin. rest of the face is clear!

- constant Dandruff also.

Didn't work : Tried following from Derm,

------------------------------------

- Doxycline Hycyclate

- Minocycline

- Differin

- Promiseb

- Zaina

- Aczone

- pretty much all steriod crap.

Remedies worked that helped a little but not cured completely

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ACV

Clay masks

Yogurt masks

Candida Diet - No sugar, No milk

ACV for dandruff.

SLS free stuff

Non flouride tooth paste

brush with sodium bi carboate (ew!)

Diet:

------

I have been eating like a monk from past 2 years,

fruits for breakfast

salads

bunch of green vegetables

yogurt once in a while.

tried candida dietfor couple of weeks which seem to clear up a bit and not complete relief.

Things next to try:

-----------------------

- Connection of these symptoms to histamine intolerance ?

- Connection of these symptoms to fungal ?

- what is the damn white pus ?

- supplements - L-Lysine, L - Glutamine

This thing brought me down so much in my life! There are days when i just sit in my room and cry because I have pretty much tried everything under the sun. I am even worried to go meet my sisters kids sad.png Please help share your expertise and what worked for you guys. Please drop a note and i really need your support to keep me motivated to see the light at the end of tunnel.

thanks!

Does the area flake,like dandruff?

If so,maybe seborrheic dermatitis.

For seborrheic maybe an antifungal ,topical ketoconazole and zinc soap .

thank you so much for responding! there is light flaking...

please take a look at my pictures and suggest what could i do ?

for majority of time i thought its perioral dermatitis or in grown hair, folliculitis.

Now i am thinking if its a food allergy ? even switched toothpaste recently

i would keep using the bp but add in an aha daily to your regimen. it will help keep those pores from clogging up like that. also one thing to add if you are worried about popping any of those whiteheads i would go get a good facial with extractions. estheticians are really good at getting all the crap out of your skin without leaving any marks or scarring. you just need to find a good one in your area.

Hello guys! I have created an account just to share the solution that worked for me for these chin pustules, it is the Topical Solution Clindamycin Phosphate. It is sold here locally in the Philippines. It had an instant effect on my pustules, clearing them with just two days of using it twice daily.I think these chin pustules are caused by bacterial infections, I hope that it is available in your country and will also work for you as I have also suffered from these pustules for the longest time :new_smiley_0:

Hi. Do you still use this? Is it still effective on you? I also have these persistent pustules on my chin for 3 years already and i haven't found the solution for this yet. Mine appeared after i stopped taking doxycycline for 6 mos. I'm glad that it worked for you! I hope this could work for me too :smileys_n_people_57:
