Hello ,
I am just saying thank you very much for your informative post about moderate acne!
Also I want to know that I use "Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock" and according to it it does not cause break outs but ive noticed that i get similar break outs as I would by using any other sunblock in the market!
Im out in the sun everyday and cannot imagine not wearing any sunblock !
Please tell me what to do because my pores get clogged easily....and thats why ive stopped using make on my skin (even though my skin dont look that pretty!!!)
Really confused!
Thanks from New Zealand
Good post, I am familiar of some of the products you have listed. It's good that you give people options, however, (and I'm saying this as nicely as possible) I think bombarding people with many products will lead to information overload. Also, please do understand that shifting from one treatment to another may cause unwanted effects to your skin. I perfectly understand the frustration all of us feel when acne strikes, and the countless advice we get to try this and try that, but as a health care provider and a friend, I'll give just one: "Ask your doctor, ask for a prescription, and faithfully follow it."
God bless everyone!
whoa....the things i'm using now has some of the ingredients that you say is bad...and i have just been using it for 5days....although i don't see any progress yet, still hoping that it'll help me positively....

>> i'm also from the Philippines and ive been having acne problems for a year now....... i'm really opting to consult a doctor soon coz it's getting worse..... i just bought celeteque products and have been using them for only a week, i don't see any improvements yet......... thing is i don't know where to go..... i read a blog that's brought up RENU skin clinic in Megamall to be a very good establishment.....whew...just hoping i have enough money to go and consult them...
Hey Margox! It's nice to know that I have a fellow Filipino here on this forum. Well, anyway, consulting a doctor should be your primary concern if you have acne problems. More so for you because you have been experiencing acne for about a year now.
A word of advice though, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SELF MEDICATE.
If you have some medical background however, you can. But knowing that majority of the people here at this forum have no medical background whatsoever, that is why I always tell them to consult a doctor.
In terms of RENU clinic, I have nothing against them, I am sure they have medications or technologies there that may help you, however, these treatments may cost much and I know the difficulty in finding money nowadays here in our country.
On a final note, consult first a dermatologist - not the expensive ones, but have a go at the more affordable hospitals in your area, I am sure there are some who are as good as the expensive ones...
God bless.

Some excellent information here. Most of it I agree with. Products that avoid many of the skin irritants listed can be found here [Removed link]. They have some great 100% natural products and you can even design your own. It would be nice if they could get more of a product range and a decent moisturiser that won't block your pores. I personally love Avene's Hydrance Optimale Light Hydratiing Cream as it seems to work well with my skin and is non-condomogenic.
Very important to have a healthy lifestyle as well.
