Hello everyone. The cosmetologist recommended me this method of scar treatment: dilute DMSO in gel (ready form 70%) and mix with Regencorr, 2/1. After applying the mixture it is necessary to massage the face. She said that a long course, at least 2 months to achieve skin changes and regeneration. Soon it will be three weeks as i use this method. There are good results, but there are also problems. There is irritation on the skin, also itching not strong yet, but gets stronger every day. I am trying to find the cause. The Regencorr instructions say that a little bit of itching is normal and not a reason to stop and the DMSO instructions say that if there is itching, redness it should be stopped. The cosmet says i need to reduce the concentration or change something.
I have a question for everyone who has experience with this method, have you had itching and such inflammation of the skin, how long and what did you do, how did you deal with it? and I can't find a good, working facial massager, can you recommend one?
Hi Julin. Are you seriously 2/1? that is a terrible concentration, 70% that's not a ready-to-use form. That's too high a concentration! A mixture like that will make the face inflamed and scabby in a week. I'm familiar with DMSO we've used it many times after training when someone gets hurt, mixed dmso with troxerutin. Our coach and sports doctor always told us, if you use it for 3-5 days then dilute it to 25% and if you apply it for a long time then dilute it tenfold, so somewhere around 2.5% and you probably have a mixture of about 30% or 50% - that's too much! the beautician is right. Julin please tell us more about the scar treatment scheme and also how long is the course? Does it have any effect on deep scars, does it help to reduce them? we all have the same problems here please write more details and the regimen and everything else
Hi. No, i just misspelled it a little. I was recommended to dilute 70% DMSO gel with aloe gel and + 18 ml Regencorr, so that the concentration of DMSO in the mixture was about 10% i made the concentration a little higher but not more than 20%, that's for sure. Yes, it had to be reduced dmso, I also diluted this mixture 1:1.5 with aloe gel, the irritation on the skin is significantly reduced after 3 days, but I am afraid that this will reduce the effectiveness.
The course is planned for 3 months, although I had hoped for less, I have not so bad and deep scars are few, but now because of the reduction in concentration, may add a month. For those who have deep scars recommended about 4-6 months. I use the mixture 3 times a week, in the evening, 2 hours after application, I massage the skin for 10-15 minutes, sometimes in the morning too.
when there was irritation, I did not use a massager. The problem is to find an effective mas. I can't find it, everything I have tried and bought: roller with a smooth surface, electric massager is junk. People write that after a good massager there is always a feeling of warmth in the skin i don't feel anything like that after my massagers.
And the beautician told me to massage the skin with scars in order to create maximum blood circulation so that the substances contained in the cream, after being applied to the skin would penetrate better and deeper into the problem area and stimulate regeneration.
Now i use another roller massager, but the sensations - none.
Please advise, effective massager for superficial facial massage, is it really and these methods no one uses? any experience is useful

If there is 20% dmso in the mix that is also superfluous. See the link. Just take this and use it to massage. You can use both palms at once to save time. Just don't use it on dry skin, lubricate it with something first. We used similar brushes when we had muscle spasms. It improves circulation. let me know how it works for you.
A 3-month course is tolerable, but 6 months is a long time, I don't know if I would have the patience. What stage of treatment are you in now? How are you doing? Julie please don't disappear update and tell us how you are doing your experience is interesting. There's very little information.
I initially wanted a roller massager and searched and selected, but in practice it turned out to be a waste of time. The animal brush is a good idea maybe will try it in a month.
In the meantime i decided to try this hairbrush.
After applying the mixture of regencorr and dmso, after 2 or 3 hours apply aloe gel and massage with the hairbrush, after 10 minutes of massage the skin is hot and even numb, so i think maybe 5 minutes once a day such a massage is enough. The effect is there, but the results will be clear later.
What concentration of dmso is in the mix, can't say for sure but definitely more than 5%. The skin is slightly red but no irritation or itching that's probably from the massage and rubbing with the hairbrush.
There is an improvement, but not satisfied yet and will keep going for another month or two. Who has the same experience write in this thread
hi there
I'm trying this method now. 8 days since I started the course. I use Regencorr + dmso + Bepanthen gel + massage. But my scheme is a little different from yours, first, the mixture was applied to the cheeks and temples every day for the first week. Massage the scars after applying the mixture, after 2 or 3 hours, sometimes after 4, 3 times a day. Now I change to applying the mixture 3 times a week, but facial massage every day, 3 times not less. The same scheme was described by a guy who shared his experience, but he also used warming ointments before applying the mix Reg and dmso. Maybe i will try it later. I think the mixture of three and massage is enough for now.
Dmso should not have been diluted with aloe gel, but with regencor, or at least with panthenol gel. Aloe gel is absolutely useless nonsense, it does nothing and whether there is aloe juice in this gel is also a question.
I think it does not make sense to exceed the DMSo concentration of 5-7% mixed with Regencor and Bepanthen. Although I have an idea to increase the concentration of dmso to 10% but there are doubts that it will give more.
Your mixture is weak now and massage is too infrequent. Massage is better to do 3 times a day at least 5 minutes to massage the skin the same massage comb and you do 1 time and you should do it not only after applying the mixture 3 times a week, but every day.
Julin, has your beautician explained to you what dmso is for? Have you tried warming creams?

Hi. well, so i wanted to add more regencorr, but i didn't have any more and it's very difficult to find it on the sales lately, had to use the aloe gel. A lot of creams are not compatible for mixing with regencorr, but this gel is.
Bepanthen that's a good idea. I wasn't advised and didn't guessed it but ican't add it to the mix now. will use the bepanten for massage thanks for the tip
The esthetician said that the dmso is necessary for the Regencorr to penetrate deeper into the tissues and scars and be more effective it seems to reduce inflammation.
Warming ointments, is it finalgon, nikoflex do you mean them or something similar? What do u use for facial massage?
You just overcomplicated it. It would be more correct to dilute DMSO (99%) with Bepanthen gel to 10 % and mix it with Regencorr 1 to 1 and you would get a mixture of 5%. A little more Regencorr is better and the concentration would be about 3 or 5%, no need for higher. DMSO is needed for better absorption and it also helps soften the fibrin adhesions in the scar, Regencorr remodels tissue and regenerates, and panthenol can improve or somehow enhance this, but, there are nuances in several sources it is written that the concentration of DMSO 5%, for our purposes should not be exceeded and general recommendations how to dilute DMSO for us are not suitable especially for long-term use. About the massagers, I also tried a lot of things, but this one I think the best option, bought on temu.com, couldn't insert the link, just a photo. Before massaging, I lubricate with Bepanten for slip when it dries, add more and then wash off with warm water.
Y, like Finalgon Thermax or nikoflex, thinking of adding it to the treatment regimen in a month.
Now the treatment is going well. The inflammation is gone and even if i massage cheeks intensively after applying the mixture the redness quickly goes away and if before this procedure to add to the scheme and warming ointment, then the redness and irritation is definitely not avoided maybe even inflammation will be, i had it, do not want more.
Look, if you add warming ointment, the skin will be reddened for at least 1 hour, and with such a face, will not go to study or work, it can only be done at night, then you have to wash it off well and clean the skin and that is another problem.
Ointments block the pores of the skin especially before Regencorr thick ointments can not be applied, they are difficult to wash off, many write about it, i think that's superfluous
hve never seen such a glove massager, it is better and more comfortable than my hairbrush, regret that didnt find it earlier if i extend the course will try it

I used finalgon after a sprain, it is a veeery stinging ointment and when it is applied to the skin of the face awful don't even think about it! just a heads-up There was an experience with dmso concentrations of 3 % without any irritation or bad reaction, but will such a low concentration in the mixture be of any use in treating scars looked at different instructions, couldn't find any information. Couldn't find regencorr for sale anywhere I searched all the online stores and pharmacies didn't think it would be a problem to find
I see about the Finalgon thanks 'll cross it off my list, maybe the idea with the warming ointment will leave for now.
I have another idea, 1 month to try a Reg + Bep mixture with 10% DMSO. This mixture will use only on deep scars, and the second month 3%, so I want to compare and find out if there will be a difference, won't change the massage regimen it'll be the same let's see
Regencorr used to be sold on amazon, ebay, saw it in a korean marketplace, it was on sale 2 months ago, currently out of stock, this is a problem because I don't have enough for the course
Cream and gel dont need much 2 packs of Regencor 18 ml or better 1 pack of 50 ml and 2 tubes of Bepanten 30 ml + 1 tube for massage and dmso just a little I have already written, read above. It's about 4 months it should be enough for me. I have a few scars on my cheeks but deep, on my temples only a few. I rub in a medium layer of the mix, it is not necessary to put a lot of it on the skin and if you have a lot of scars on your cheeks, temples forehead i don't know how much cream you need
Nat if you find Regencorr on sale in the near future let me know please post

Julinn what are the results of your treatment? It's been over four months. please share your info
Hi. The results are good, but i can't say am absolutely thrilled. There are still some uneven areas of skin.
My treatment didn't go as planned from the start. I lost a lot of time due to the wrong dilution of regencorr with dmso, so i had to reduce the concentration of the mixture three times spent three months on a useless massager.
I bought the silicon massager glove that Anni9 recommended, but i used it for less than a month. By the way, it is really helpful and creates a good warming effect in the skin.
I ran out of the regencorr mixture 3 weeks ago.
The last 10 days i decided to try new cosmetics cream - i got a rash 🙁 allerg
I need to correct the skin evenness a little, even if it takes a yearand i would repeat the course, but the regencorr cream still isn't available. Natb Were u able to find it? Anni and you?

I've been checking its availability in all online stores, but no luck finding it yet. Your results are great! It's odd that you're unsatisfied, I don't see a need to repeat the treatment. Maybe this rash is not caused by new cosmetics, but by the treatment. Why do you need cosmetics? you have young skin
What about the right cheek?
No, the rash was caused by the cosmetics it's almost gone now.
On the right cheek the unevenness is still visible and pigmentation little bit. A lot of people tell me i have perfect skin but the issue is that it shows even the slightest flaws or marks.I don't use cosmetics often, sometimes so that the skin is not weathered and not flaky.
I've come across reviews of those who used Regencorr for keloid scars, after skin cancer treatment, in their cases it is not recommended or even forbidden to use it together mix with dmso but nobody explains why and it's not in the instructions
