I typed this out in like five minutes so bare with me and I have all the scars pretty much I only had ice pick scars to begin with and slowly developed other ones with crappy doctors.

Any advice or discussion here is greatly appreciated, Ive been doing this for almost 3 years now Im in my early 20s so yeah best time to waste my mental energy and time on my face but Im glad there is this community here and that I know Im not alone cuz this journey is painful and just know not everyone really notices or atleast if you are confident in yourself but I have days I dont even go out cuz of it but Im super hopeful still thank you :))

Hello! Sorry for your bad experience! I also have problems with texture from the co2 fractional laser (orange peel texrure). Can you share what texture you developed after the laser and what exact laser you did? Good luck with your new treatments!

Man I feel like the average guy on here but mostly built up anger is getting me to write this out cuz well my journey has been dreadful

Ive done it all now other than subcision , ( my upcoming treatments are gonna consist of this )

so like the average guy I was I developed all of my scars quite quickly , and they werent horrible but they were still super ugly . I didnt even know you could get acne scars tbh

Anyways thats a fun downfall cuz I had zero knowledge going into my journey . So I found a scar clinic that showed great results for similar if not worse scars than mine so I said wow she just be smart

(not gonna reveal some doctors until Im done with my upcoming procedures )

But nope , so heres first procedure

3x C02 laser and like 3 very mild sessions of TCA

this was for a cost of4k$

results ?? Terrible haha I couldnt believe it but yeah dont ever ever ever ever start with lasers . She performed something weird on my face and creatures the most disgusting texture ever, alongside with larger deeper scars yeah absolute worst .

and of course I was gaslight during the whole process like it was fine. So yeah mest me up mentally

Next I want with the famous Dr emer in Beverly sunny side hills , and during the whole procedure I said wow this is going great everything feels well done here very professional.. yeah thats how they get ya but I wanted to try cuz they actually have me a really good deal there

for 1.1k

we did a laser I forget the name but they claimed it was slightly less stronger than C02, with punch Excision ion 5 scars and TCA

well other than the laser part it worsened my skin. the excision was performed by toddler hands cuz they could not figure out what scars to take out like it was there first time seeing scars. And then they had trouble removing the stitches and fucked up my scars even more like wow.

Ok so then I return and this is where they got me , they only recommended C02 lasers.. for 5k a pop and that I would need atleast 4

yeah goodbye

Ok so now Im on this forum and I find this guy who got great results from this certain doctor and now we are at present time .

I get charged a ridiculous 900$ for a test spot for a Phenol peel for 3 tiny little scars , ridiculous but oh well for me the prices dont matter if I get results and the process seemed reasonable.

Next I get charged 1.2k$ for the actual phenol peel

and now its all peeled off and well during this process my skin felt amazing it was looking smooth zero redness , scars looked very even and I deduced that it was due to swelling but I still felt there was an improvement.

well now my scars look worst than ever and I cant believe it , my whole face is cratered like a abused basketball. And they look wayy deeper than before cuz they are really really red now . So weird

so heres my deal , I will be going back to him to finish the process cuz I still feel I can benefit cuz I really wanna see what they do and react to my skin since all Ive seen is good results from them all around . Extremely confident people there its cute.

I wanna get another phenol peel cuz I have ice picks but I want it in less scars than before cuz of my texture issues.

plan was for sculptra I believe ? And that is 3k$ there and I feel like that would help a lot so time will tell

Well sorry to say so but welcome to the club , i had many treatments over 4 years and talked to many people online about their experiences with acne scars treatment and i can honestly tell you that people that tried acne scars treatment and have 20-30 % improv and no permanent side effects are lucky ones, rest is a lot like you no improv , lots of money spent and worse scars then before
