Filler made scars worse?

Hey.. havent posted here in a little while. Recently had refine filler placed for acne scars (2 vials). One side of my face it made a great difference. Loved it.. went to get the 2nd vial and filled my left side more I swear it somehow made the scars worse. Im only 3 days out from the treatment so maybe still lumpy/inflamed but usually swelling tends to make scars look better, not worse. They somehow imo look worse then they ever have. Opinions please? Anyone else had this happen? Should i ask her to dissolve it at the follow up? Its freaking me out bad.

the picture with the hoop earrings are after filler.. the other 2 are before. I took the pictures in the same exact lighting and location. Ive tried taking pics at so many different angles and lighting to compare and I was shocked by how much worse I think they look now. Also trying to convince myself it could be in my head.
also, there scars on this side of my face literally seem as if they dont respond to any treatments. Ive done microneedling, rf microneedling, subcision, co2 ablative laser; and now filler. Scars on other side are different and have responded well to filler/ treatments. What would you guys suggest else for treatments??

i also dont seem to understand how filler didnt fill in any of these craters on this side. They didnt respond well to subcision either with a different doctor. Is this just because the scars could be more surface level/ texture issue and not a fat atrophy issue/tethering issue? Or the placement of the filler just was not good.. because how did it not fill any of them. i dont think is the reason, since the other side was a great response to it. Why do these scars respond to no treatments?

Honest advice and thoughts please.

Hmm. Yeah it doesn't look improved.

Scar repair is a very personal thing and what works for some doesn't for others. It's hard to know if it's your genetics, the treatments you're getting, or the practitioner doing it that is leading to less than fabulous results.

A couple thoughts:

  • Subcision: Seems like a logical way to go. You said you've already done it, but maybe you could experiment with subcision with a suction device? Those make common sense to me.
  • Filler: Maybe get a fat transfer? I like the idea of that because it's your own body's tissue.
  • Go to a new person: I'm not dogging your current doc, but maybe try a different one just in case it's an experience or expertise issue?
