What do you think of getting dermabrasion with her? I found a video where she looks competent https://www.instagram.com/p/B62V5qfHtcD/?igshid=MDE2OWE1N2Q=

and I found her because she actively shares knowledge on reddit

and she has gone through acne scar treatments herself. A doctor who tries what they do wow.

The video is not dermabrasion it's more like microdermabrasion. My dermabrasion was bleeding for 2 days straight, bandages that were on my cheeks for 10 days and were forced off by scabs only. Then 2-3 months red cheeks and 9 more months pink cheeks. That's the dermabrasion you need if you take a shot at dermabrasion. I would also suggest testing perhaps if that's possible.

I can't say if she's any good to be honest. My general ways of searching are a surgeon that has a good background, does lots of procedures, has pictures or previous cases he/she can show you, and dermabrasion (aggressive) is mostly done by only select doctors.

My doctor retired a while ago. I don't even know any that does it the way I got it. I would try to do a whole lot of research, do tons of searches, call places for referrals, search reviews endlessly, look at coastal or cities. If all that fails try to investigate some doctors the board recommends like Taylor, Lim, Rullan or others that might be able to do something similar.

For what it's worth I feel your pain. Every time someone asks for advice or posts pictures I wish there was a more concrete advice, easy reference, more certain outcomes or procedures and so on. I, myself, deal with this as well. Not as bad after dermabrasion by any means but significantly still evident in texture. I wish I could have another dermabrasion or peel or other thing that could easily solve my texture issues too. But It's hard stuff.

All I can say is stay motivated and don't give up on trying to persist on improving. And just do your best to make the best gamble out there, because in the end acne scars are gambles on so many variables, including the doctor himself/herself.

Just strictly speaking on depth and blending various scars healed 75-90% but left a super tenuous texture and pigmentation has been a bit strange in certain areas but not terrible. I was more interested in icepick depth/shape.
