Jason Emer recent patient sucess: legit?

Posted : 11/04/2022 3:43 am

All docs cheat with photos. What you see is not what you get. It doesnt mean that no improvement is possible, it is, but docs use different tricks to exaggerate results. And all these treatments are way overpriced for the results they deliver so at the end of the scar correction journey you often end up having spent a small fortune.

Hey guys,

There is a lot of Emer bashing here but what do you guys think of these recent results:

Wanna hear from all the critical members Lets have an honest discussion. Cost aside, he is not cheap, he is on BH/hollywood! I just wanna focus on competecy. Again if anyone knows or have an intelligente about horrible stories please share with evidences. I wanna nothing but the truth...it is not any easy decision to do these treatments with anyone, be it Emer, Lim, Rahimi, Rullan, etc.. this is a serious time and money investment so lets share our intelligence...

The improvement is there but why do you want spend more if you can the same result for cheaper. You are just paying for expensive machines and marketing. If these devices are so robust shouldn't this just end the patient journey. I am very sure the pictures are within 2 weeks of treatment. I am sure they got the improvement just not 7000 worth. You can actually get phenol peel with dr rullan with that price of 6500. Atleast the deepest chemical for scar. It will thin the dermis and everything regenerates. I had a lot of positive comments from friends after doing this. Although I already did laser but it never fixed the texture issues and guess nobody ever commented anything. A little bit of scar smoothing thats all. Here is a histology of phenol as per davin lim. Here is what dr rullan told me that the laser dont hit the scar borders. They are able in case of boxcars  since the edges can be accessed but any anything sharp and narrow it is hard. He said he used to do a lot of ablative procedure back in the day. but nothing came close to phenol peel. He has co2, erbium, rf but he choose to use the chemical meaning he has seen much better improvement from this then that. He told me rf will work for superficial things only.

Thanks. Yeah Rahimi also charges 5000 for laser. Emer just reminds me of Lim and ai love Lim. Also if I am doing laser/microneedling I want the best, someone who is on top of the technology with all the devices and who is doing this many time everyday. My scar are shallow and rolling..and I am.in the older side so anti-aging is also something I want to accomplish. I loved how my skin looked when I used to do laser and micronerdling. It is not for all type of scars though.

My only question that I still didn't get answer for is, has Emer ever damaged anyone's skin by overtrsating? I still didn't hear or see any evidences. And I want to do my due diligence befoe committing. Everyone put beautiful pictures on instagram... but I want to hear about consistency and safety so please anyone who knows anything speak up.

I will never do phenol peel. Man, I saw a thread with a young guy who did it. I don't have that downtime or patience at this stage in my life... it is a trade off and I don't think the social downtime is worth the improvement here.  I am looking for slow and modest improvement with a few days of downtime after each treatment...time is money..and I just can't afford that being in my late 30s..it will be more expensive end to end. If I were 21 or 25 I would have done it..

These photos are taken 10 days after treatment. Skin is majorly swollen. Ask anyone who had treatment with this guy -- they'll tell you that by 1 month post, things will return to the way they were.

He also uses Bellafill, which no credible scar revisionist I know uses. Permanent fillers cause permanent problems.

Thanks, that is what I really after here..can anyone who had treatment with Dr Emer or know first-hand (not heard) of one who had have speaks up please?

P.s. bellafill is the only FDA approved filler for atrophied acne scars. It lasts like 5-7 years. I think silicone is the only permanent filler and it is a horrible idea as you correctly pointed out.

Pps. I am not promoting Emer work. I am researching and sharing what I know.

Laser and energy devices are no joke and they can do permanent damage from overtreating hence my research.

Am I wrong to say it looks like he has more orange peel texture after? I just clicked the first link. Towards his upper cheek/eyes that is. I see more texture issues than before? Am I wrong?

Link 2 shows improvement but I'm just going to be honest, I got MUCH more improvement on depth and size from aggressive dermabrasion than that guy. So that's great if it's reliable but I'd like to see more improvement than that generally. I think doctors need to revisit dermabrasion techniques until better procedures can be invented. Not sure what they are doing.

you are not wrong. one aspect may be new collagen is always a bit more textured before it transitions to type 3. another aspect may be emer goes too aggressive. i agree dermabrasion or chemabrasion need to be more widely available
