Have not attempted this yet, the idea just came to mind, and wanted to know if anyone has tried this before.

The main downside I see when it comes to microneedling for textural scarring is the angle. Perpendicular to the skin. I feel like a combined horizontal manual microneedling (for surface-level scars ONLY) might make a significant difference in addition to traditional microneedling. The ideal angle to the skin would be similar to an intradermal injection (10-15 maximum). Probably 8-10 pokes through the length of the scar in a 180 semicircle starting at the borders. The thinnest sterile needle used in facial acupuncture is 0.12 mm in diameter, which roughly translates to a 44 gauge needle. Extremely thin.

And this goes without saying, but prep for something like this would be a freshly clean counter, sterile procedure drape sheet over the counter, sterile nitrile gloves, freshly clean face, alcohol prep pads for the scarred skin (before and after procedure). I'd probably also combine this with a GHK-Cu Copper Peptide solution topically immediately after and generic non-scented white petroleum for an occlusive barrier for the night.
