Skin grafts work for scars that are on the surface of the skin, usually from burns or something caused from external damage. Acne scars I think happen underneath the skin as a result from the inflammation so I dont think a skin graft would be much help.
Best would be to do a full dermal transplant, which transplants the epidermis + dermis including nerves and veins as a whole. If this is done by autografting, you are basically swapping the tissues, so you will get the scarred tissue on an other part of your body (where it is more hidden). The advantage is that you are able to get 100% improvement, because the skin is basically flawless. The disadvantage is that it is probably highly invasive and it leaves scars at the excision area.
I do not know if this is ever performed nor if this is actually feasible, but I have been thinking about this for some time.

I told you before. phenol does not heal scars. It is effective only for fine wrinkles.I researched it for about 5 months and talked to the people who had it done.
