I think 3D printing or otherwise externally producing/growing body parts like autologous skin structures will be the future in the field of regenerative medicine. What are your thoughts?

it's theoretically possible, yeah, but that sort of technology is probably a relatively long way away from being available for use by the general public

Probably. You'd probably have to create the same material and vessels to the millimeter then somehow force the other skin to integrate/accept it. I personally don't see why it's so hard now with all the technology we have, but let's not forget 50 years later they still can't cure cancer after trillions in funding.
