You can see some ice pick and boxcar scarring, but my main concern is the raised bumps.
I do not think they are active acne, as I've had them for a while, even though they are red. I also took accutane, so stopped breaking out a long time ago. When everything else got pushed out of my skin, these remained.
The head-on photos probably show them better.
From what I've googled, hypertrophic scars don't look so much like this, though I could be wrong.
I'm also unsure what the scars under my eyes are
Does anyone know what scarring I have and how it can be treated?
My texture is obviously horrible, but I don't think it can all be texture.
I don't mean the pores.
I mean the patches of raised skin that you can see best in the 1st and 3rd photos, but you can probably make them out in all the photos.
I'm at a loss because I've tried many topicals yet nothing seems to work.
I'm pretty sure it isn't acne because I stopped breaking out a while ago. Accutane also didn't get rid of them, though I was on a low dose throughout treatment.
I don't know if it's scarring or something else. Without even knowing what I'm dealing with, it's hard to know what to do.
Thanks for your help.
I have a few additional questions.
1. Can scarred pores cause the raised skin or is it just the closed comedones? When I google closed comedones and look in the mirror, my skin doesn't really look like that.
2. I tried tret before, but it just irritated my skin. Do you think a low percentage retinol solution would be enough? Something like Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum?
3. Do you think azelaic acid would help?
4. How about dermarolling?

A few years ago I had cysts on both sides under my eyes and like an idiot I tried to kind of dig them out with scissors. I have no idea what I was thinking, but this is now the end result. So it's either just straight up scarring or caused fat loss. I don't think it naturally occurred.
