Would tca cross be effective? Severe acne scars progress with subcision and skin boosters

Hi all, first time posting here. I've been visiting these forums since I was 21 and I used Dan's method to successfully eliminate my severe acne. I'm now 29 and have severe rolling, box car and rolling acne scars (according to my dermatologist). I started with dermarolling at home about once a month for six months. I did notice 25% improvement. I'm based in Seoul temporarily where I have accessible care so I decided to pursue professional treatment with the goal of having smoother, plumper (less prominent scars), glowing skin and wanted to share. I think that's important to note as I personally am not willing to spend $5000+ for treatments. I'm aiming for low price, high impact solutions.

First session I went to the best acne scar specialists in Seoul. I did pay $1700, which is a hefty price for me personally, but I wanted to experiment with how effective it would be.

CO2 laser + Subcision for 50 scars + 2cc Rejuran healer (skin booster shots): $1700

I saw the most impact from subcision as I saw some of my boxcar scars soften and raise 30%. I'd probably skip the co2 as price didn't justify the results. Lastly rejuran healer was a nice to have. It is like an iv drip for your face. It's supposed to assist in collagen rejuvenation when paired with the other treatments. I'd do this again because I loved the skin glow and made me feel good about my skin.

Two months later I went to a plastic surgeon at my own accord as there was a special that month for fraxel + salmon dna shots. Paid $100

The outcome of this was 100% worth it. I hear that you need high settings for fraxel on acne scars but I asked to start off with a low setting. The pores on my nose, sides of nose and forehead have shrunk 30%, fine lines on my forehead are gone and overall tone looks and feels healthier. I don't think this necessarily helped my acne scars but because my skin overall looks healthier, I look better.

I'll continue with subcision and fraxel which brings costs to around $500 per treatment. Lastly, I'm looking into getting tca cross for my ice pick scars, any thoughts on the effectiveness of this?

Just some finishing thoughts on the journey with acne. I wish I had been diligent with sunscreen and moisturizing my face in my 20's.  I see the effects of sun damage on my late 20's skin and think this makes my overall skin look unhealthy, not just from the acne scars. I've learned that healthy skin is really about being consistent with the basics: moisture and sunscreen.

Thanks for reading!

Hm interesting. Many do praise subscision lately and I've seen some good results here and there, so I'm sorta impressed with it as a method to culminate some texture or raising. I think you sort of have to do it often to get really good results. Microneedling really doesn't do any good as far as I've seen, unless it's combined with other stuff like prp and maybe that's extremely hit or miss. The lasers are so overpriced so doctors charge a lot but idk about them. I've read mostly stories about how they are unimpressive but I think a full ablative can probably help the right scars, it might depend.

As for tca cross that's incredibly hit or miss. I would never do more than 1 spot to test. Some people say it helps a lot, others it noticeably widens scars or deepens them which I've seen with my own eyes.

By the way, what are the red in the last two pictures, from what procedure?

I think tca widening is not an issue as long it is widening plus lifting but we definetely dont want I deepenbecause remember you can shave the edge with laser or abrade the scar with dermabrasion but wont help with lifting much.

I personally think that TCA Cross did help with my scars. But I also added Subcision and Fillers to it.
