As title says,I'm looking for dermatologists experienced with v-beam in the SF/South Bay Area.The more affordable the better of course. I've talked to California Skin Institute but they charge an exorbitant amount of moneyplus I really dislike my overall experience with them.
Also - I recently had onesession of v-beam to take care of some very long lasting but slight redness on the scarred areas, which didn't seem to yield any effect. Is this normal? How many sessions are usually needed for v-beam to make a difference on my skin type?
And If you know any solid/trustworthy scar correctiondermatologists or laser expertin the area please comment or dm their names! Maybe what I perceiveas redness is some other forms of discoloration...Would be glad to consult a professional on this. Thanks y'all!

CSI is a chain. Visited it once and don't think it specializes in anything.
For V-Beam, you don't really need anyone too skilled to operate it as it's pretty safe. I've had it done several times and the stronger treatment yielded more results. However, the more aggressive treatment led to a week of visible bruising. Even makeup doesn't cover everything.
V-Beam usually isn't a one-and-done thing, unfortunately, unless they are for spots that are red/brown that will turn into coffee grinds.
I'd say call around but I know most places will probably charge for a consultation and then credit you for the expensive treatments.
Here's just a list. I haven't been to any of these and I don't know what's good or not. I've only heard of one place and I know it's expensive. There are probably 100 more practices that offer the V Beam so call around.
