Could someone tell me what type of scars these are? And what treatment I should get?
Finished my 2nd accutane course last May and haven't gotten a zit since. My scars are quite old and I've been told to get a TCA chemical peel, but I'm not sure.. Do you think that is the right approach for my kind of scarring? I just want to use my time and money effectively..
Looks like you have some of all kinds. While I don't see the sharp icepick scars, TCA Cross (different than peels) could help some scars but you'll need a series (4-6) of treatments and time. Microneedling in conjunction with TCA peels can help a little but I don't think you'll see dramatic improvement. Laser treatments will smooth out some scars but it's probably best that you get the scars closer to the surface of the surrounding skin first.
