Afraid of side effects Sculptra

Recently, I've had subcision with sculptra once. The treatment was not in my own country since I went to a scar specialist. The idea was to do subcision with HA filler, but specialist told me Sculptra is now a days preferred over filler for scarring in some cases. I didn't had enough time to think about it and so I went with the Sculptra.

But now... I regret it. I read some horror stories and I'm afraid I might get those side effects as well. Also, people report lumps even 4 years after injections... I thought the Sculptra was gone in about 3 years..

So yeah, I'm a bit anxious right now.

Hello, do u already see anything wrong ?

I remember u wrote that u had treatment with Dr. Henningsen and he suggested sculptra and then Infini ?

Emil is good doctor, of course anything can happen in medicine, well if u see something wrong just contact him, i am sure he can help u.

BTW have u done Infini with him ?

What horror stories? When did you hear about them? I read about one woman but that's it.

I think that the collagen sculptra creates remains and binds to existing collagen, therby acting as your regular collage and breaking down accordingly. Now, an over stimulation of such is a possible side effect if too much of it is placed. Therefore going to an experienced Dr is your best bet. The actual Sculptra only last a couple of years in the body. Essentially, it's up to your body to see how it will react to the foreign stimulator.

If I'm wrong, please someone say so.

Hello @Noa27

How was your experience with sculptra? Did you see improvement? Suffered any side effects(hopefully not)?

How did you like the Sculptra filler? I'm also looking into it now.
