Hi all is it normal to have zero bruising after my second subcision with Dr. Rullan? i felt like last time he also spent more time on my cheeks and this time barely a few minutes on each cheek.I had some bruising and the scars had look rather lifted and this time the scars barely lifted, no bruising, barely any swelling. My cheeks hurt last time as well and I feel fine this time around.
I saw Rullan yesterday for subcision/CROSS and sculptra, but I had a lot of swelling after. Decreased about 50% today, but some still there partly because I didn't do the kenalog shot that is offered after the treatment. As far as bruising, I don't have much really if any at all, but I did CROSS had have some of those scabs still. This was my third subcision with him and he mentioned to me that there was much that re-tethered so that was a good sign. He spend maybe 8-10 minutes on each side for me. If you got the kenalog shot that might be why you don't have much swelling today.

Last time he devoted a lot more time on both cheeks and this time it was fast for both. I also received no lift in the scars at all on both cheeks. I think I will discontinue seeing him and find someone local for subcision now as I live in Canada so don't like wasting money when I am not getting results. I will also be doing Infini RF locally as well.I may return to see him to do a phenol peel a year from now.
