Hello. In December I extracted two large blackheads from my nose. Ever since then I've had these large divots on my nose that I find very distracting. I've seen two derms now who have both said I have no scarring on my nose however there has been little to no improvement the past 8-9 months. I'm hesitant about seeing another dermatologist and would like to properly identify what's wrong with my nose so I can get the proper treatment. I initially thought both were icepick scars but when I tuck my upper lip into the bottom I noticed that the top scar almost looks linear. I find these scars very distressing and damaging to my self esteem.

My current routine is a gentle cleanser twice a day, and I finish by applying a thin layer of differin gel over my face at night.I thought that given that the differin gel is a retinoid it could help boost collagen production and raise the scars but it might be too low of a concentration (0.01% Adapalene).
@Scarrednose98These are extremely common, everyone has big pores, and some minor imperfections. Frankly I don't know if it's worth the risk and excessive cost to treat for something so small it's barley noticeable in the photo. They are not deep nor are they wide. I would say just live with them. But they bug you. Alternate peeling them and microneedling at home(See the chemical peel guide). If that does not work find someone to tca cross the tiny surface scars and then co2 laser them.
Some Dr's would just put a big of filler under them.
They will never be perfect, the nose is a terrible place to treat and heal, ... it's not like the rest of the face. They happened because of acne or excessive sebum and a plugged pore.
