It was difficult to take a good picture of my scars, but you may be able to see that I have indentations and linear scars. I hate it when I see my scars reflected in car windows.
I am considering subcision but I am worried as accutane made my skin scar very easily. Is cannula subcision a safe option and is it as good as nokor?
Which filler would be best - fat transfer or Juvederm (voluma, volift, volbella, volite)? What is the difference between these Juvederm fillers?
How many ml would I need? I can get fat transfer cheaper whereas Juvederm is priced per ml and is expensive.
Thank you
@improvingscarsFirstly your scars are very minor in that picture. The only thing I see is a few rolling scars one just under the eye and the other two to the left of your nose. You have some larger pores but it's really not a big deal as we all have that in harsh light.
Subcision would help you, many sessions and some filler, then perhaps some tca peels or laser resurfacing for the texture.
* I would do some co2 laser to you to soften the transition of the scars.
The pores can be treated at the same time w/ tca cross.
At home dermastamp the scar border or buy a derminator and do this, they also have a single needle attachmentto work on the border of the scar monthly between Dr' treatments that are every 3 months. You can also do some glycolic peels as well. Use a retinoid or tretinorin nightly.
I don't have time to go through all the fillers. There are hundredsof them, various countrieshave differentbrands and they are all good. We are not shopping for filler, we are shopping for a Dr that can do subcision and I would do cannula in your case as it has less down time / damage. But realisticallyyou have 3 scars so nokor would be fine.
- If you want to learn more about filler goto the FAQ, pinned to the main scar treatments sub at the top, find the filler section. Juvederm is just internally known. Various formsof it are used based on longevity and location. They may use Ultra on your, Volbella, Voluma, or so many other of the products depending on what the Dr has and is cost effective to do so. Ask question, how long does this last, why would you use it on me, what other options do you have. What are the cost differences. The skill of your injector and especially subcision matter so much more than a filler which the body replaces as part of treatment.
