No this will not work, ... you must have gotten this idea from the steriod shot atrophy post. Scars are old scar tissue , atrophy is new and a fresh wound. The reason we do saline injections is to flush the crystals of steriod and to stimulate the tissue to heal this part of the body. For box cars you would be better with subcision and a HA filler that lasts as a spacer. Many Drs don't even do saline injections as they do very little and you would need them daily, HA filler is much more effective and longer lasting. Steriod Atrophy again is not acne scars. Icepicks are not handled by any of this, you need tca cross to them. See a trained acne scar specialist for treatment.
