What are my best options? (Midlands, UK)

I had really bad acne when I was about 16, and I'm 31 now and have had really bad scars ever since. The sides of my face aren't that bad except under strong light, which makes me think subcision would be a good option. I also have a really deep icepick scar between my eyebrows on one side, and a raised scar with more icepick holes on the other which makes it look like I'm frowning all the time which seem like they'd be simple to fix with punch excision? I also have pretty bad lines on my forehead which aren't helped by loads of tiny icepick scars. I absolutely hate being anywhere with strong lights because my scars show up really bad and it makes me look way older than in normal light.

I've done probably a dozen dermaroller sessions at home over the last 5 or 6 years, which I don't think has really made a difference at all.

I live in Birmingham in the UK, and the only skin clinic I know around here is SK:N, which doesn't offer subcision, just the general treatments like fraxel and dermarollers. What are my best options here? I don't mind travelling within reason.

Here's some photos with strong lighting (I also have retin A on my face which makes it look worse/oily)

Hi there thanks for posting.

Subcision would be a good option for you with filler. 4 sessions.
rf needling 4 sessions.
You need botox for forehead lines, this is normal with age.
Icepick in the glabella - between eyes is tricky, botox is needed, perhaps excision here, or tca cross.
CO2 laser may be needed for additional improvement.

Dermaroller will do very little for this, rf needling will. you can do this between sessions at the Dr, 3 months apart for DR sessions and 1 month for needling at home.

If your in the UK see Dr Chu in London or there are a few others see the list of providers in the FAQ - first post of the acne scar sub.

Tethered scars as well as atrophic. Chu will subcise these and use microneedling to break up the bonds vertically - also microneedling is a form of CIT or collagen induced therapy. Any atrophic scars, fillers. Prof will ensure you have the best treatments possible in the UK, he is a man of ethics, so you won't get sold stuff you don't need.
