I have contacted them. They said it depends on HSA - Some are stricter than other. I have my own HSA & my wife also has one from her work.
We both can use the debit/credit card HSA or submit the claim for approval. I'll give it a try with $500-1000 treatment first and see if there are any problem. I'm thinking of subcision and TCA cross and maybe needling with Dr Rullan for my rolling, boxcarts scar, and TCA cross. If they approve, I'll add more money to HSA for next year procedure.
Just wanted to update this thread. I was able to qualify for HSA reimbursement with a letter of medical necessity from the dermatologist. I'm planning put aside some HSA money to do 3 more procedures (Subcision, Phenol cross, Needling, PRF) and maybe erbium laser for texture next year.
