Yes that is not a good idea. They do not work together. One needs a series to take care of hypierpigmentation issues. The other is for slight texture. Alternating could cause more damage than good unless you were fully healed without any swelling or crusting.

you typically want to tca then do your ipl to take care of any remaining pigmentation the peel(s) did not get. Allow some healing time between treatments. What you can alternate is microneedling and tca peels at home.
