Hello everybody!
Firstly, I cannot believe I did not sign up here years ago for advices throughout my teenage years of fighting acne.
I had acne since high school and been on acutane treatments twice to fight the acne off of my face and the result as you can see in pictures are the scars.
Now that I got a great paying job and have more than enough money available (no issue here), it is now time to invest and take care of my face that I cannot believe I have been able to get by over these past years.
I am wondering before I visit the doctor and they try to sell me the most expensive places to go to to get this ugly scars off my face for a few suggestions or advices:
I wanted to ask the community on here on your suggestions and what can you recommend?
I greatly appreciate your help and suggestions!! Looking forward to this forum
Subcision and Sculptra filler (you will need 4sessions of them).
RF Microneedling AKA Infini you do these spaced 3 months part between the time your waiting to top up on your filler.
TCA Cross for any icepick scars. Several are needed
You end with a deep peel or fully ablative erbium resurfacing for texture once you get things more level.
V-beam or vascular laser for the reds
If you have a ton of money 😉 Fly to Dr Lim in AUS he is one of the top acne scar drs. He may do things a bit different and combine treatments at once if your visiting.

Well you finally found the right place. People here are often times more knowledgeable than most doctors because we've researched / experimented / been in the trenches. You'll get legit advice here. I agree, you'll need revolumization with fillers for the sunken cheeks, subcision for the rolling scars. The volume to your cheeks will make an immediate visual impact (Sculptra will take a few sessions for the collagen to be stimulated, whereas HA fillers will give you an immediate effect).
What you have going for you is that you don't seem to have very jagged scars, which makes it ideal for sub / filling.
i agree with dazzed i think there is potential for really good results with this type of scarring. If they can lift the depression in the skin it should look pretty level even without resurfacing treatments. Almost all of my most noticeable scarring is like this as well. I wish i could get subcision and filler right now. Please keep us updated, id love to see your results!
