I had some good help in the past on this site, so I thwught let me ask it here. Hope BA And obi wan can help me out a bit.
I had a very bad lifestyle, smoking, drinking and worked nightshifts. Now I'm left with these awfull dark circles under my eyes. Its blueish reddish.
I stopped smoking and drinking and quit my job, also eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Wil they go away if I sleep on steady times??? If so, how long would it take?
There are lots of natural treatments for this please Google remedies or natural treatments for dark under eyes. Lookup things that clean up the liver, lymph, edema (depending if you also have bags).
It can be caused by liver toxicity, allergy, or simply thin skin and the veins show (loss of fat), or pigmentation.
Filler will fix this for some, others need laser treatment, there are combos of prp and CO2, vascular laser for blood vessels, or q-switch/1064 for pigmentation.
A simple at home treatment is preparation h which is a vaso dilator. The use of Allergy medication antihistamine can also tried.
Try the cheaper things first.
Thank u for your fast reply. I dont have bags, just a very dark blueish color under my eyes. Im white, so i dont think its pigmentation. I also dont think its genetics cause my syblings (with a much healthier lifestyle) don't have it.
How long do you think it will take to get less? I hope with a healthy lifestyle it will go away fast. I'm also taking antihistamine since 2 weeks, cause I sneeze allot.
still it blows my mind, I'm just 26 and i see people of 40+ who has less darkness under their eyes then me.
Sounds like you need filler or a vascular laser treatment. See a board certified Dr.
I don't know that it will heal on it's own. Try the natural treatments by google searching preperation h and antihistimines. If this does not work see a Dr.
Concealer is another option for under eyes many use/
I've seen 26 year olds, ... they live quite hard or have medical conditions. Girls put concealer over it.
Try the home remedies for 6 months and then treat if you need to.
I don't see microneedling in the list of Dr approved treatments ;-). The skin is to thin to needle here and can cause more damage, most microneedling suppliers will tell you this. The linked article was a microneedle companies clickbait.
Your causing constant swelling and inflammation hence the short period of improvement. Filler is a better fix for this with less side effects, this is caused by a deficiency of fat.

Can I use a Dermaroller on this area under the eye? - No you cannot due to a risk of eyeball injury. When you put your finger under your eye, you'll feel a bone. Do not roll closer to your eye than where that bone is. This is a common spot people loose fat, showing "dark circles" which are underlying veins.
Do not roll/needle inside the red area. (Plastic surgeons can do that safely - not us "home rollers"..). This area is some of the thinnest skin on the body and easily damaged.
I am not sure for what reason you want to roll there but the lines you are pointing at with red arrows are not wrinkles. These are natural creases.
Even babies have them:
I made a appointment with a doctor to check out if I got allergies. Gonna hold on to a schedule to sleep and exercise. Also a well-balanced diet with allot of fruit and veggies. Hope this is gonna help.
if I dont see improvement in 6 months, I'm gonna try some fillers. But I doubt if this will work against the darkness, the darkness is also in the corner of my eyes. Next to the nasal bone.
everyday I sneeze, so I think allergies contribute to the darkness also. There is not much hollowness under my eyes also. So I dont think its due to aging.

BA, im wondering, the darkness is also between my eyes and nosebridge. It's like the innercorner of my eye. It looks a bit like someone punched me a black eye. Can this still be the cause of aging? Or is it more logical it's due to a allergy?
