If the issue is simply red it's PIE or wounding post acne. If the issue is pitting it's a scar. It can be both. It can take a year to heal from this which many want a quick solution. The quickest is vascular laser or IPL. Regarding the pit, you can try dermastamping it since it's very mild and doing light peels on it. Please see the FAQ under skin and PIE.
