Hi guys,
i have contacted BA before via PM and he recommended me to do :
1) tca cross
2) subcision +filler
3) infini RF
currently Im on process for no 1) and 2) - excluding filler. Since my current doctor doesnt have infini RF, i have to find different doctor who does it (which i already did). However my question are:
1) if i did subcision + filler and lets say 1-1.5 months later Ill do Infini RF, will the infini destroy the filler inside my skin?
2) once i get filler, can i still do TCA CROSS, TCA peel, IPL LASER etc? Will it destroy the filler same as question 1)?
3) is microneedling/dermapen done by doctor will have the same effect with inifini RF? My current doctor has dermapen treatment so far.
thanks!
I recommend getting 3X Infini before Subcision with filler (unless you did not have filler done).
They say it doesn't effect the filler, but I have seen cases where it did effect the filler if it was placed in more shallow scarring.
You do not need to get filler your first go of subcision, you can do Chinese Cupping or do saline injections and do it latter on (your doing 3).
Do not do these things too close together, your body needs time to heal, ... many do this over 3 years so they can have the down time. Doing too much too soon can destroy the skin.
If you space things out it makes more since, of doing subcisions filler and Infini, in that year. Many doctors let you save the unused filler to top up if there is some left over from your treatment.
TCA cross will not effect your filler and can be done at any time, same thing with peels.
IPL laser, cannot because it ""could"" thermally effect the filler, though many say it does not and your fine. What I would do is your notice your filler needs topping up then get your Infini treatment, or do all your Infini before. Just space things out with more months in between. How might this look oh I need some filler so I go get IPL and or Infini then get subcision and filler done, then wait till you need it again. This isn't a race, its your body healing which takes months.
No microneedling would not have the same effects as Infini, there is no energy. You can microneedle at home with filler at home at any time, but will have minimal results, it's great for upkeep.
Finally if the filler is placed deeply (augmentation not acne scar spot treatment), disregard all the above, it will not effect it.

Thanks for the reply BA. Actually to clarify my doctor wants to do filler for my depressed cheeks as I have sunken cheeks on both side. she said this will be injected far below the skin (near cheek bones?) by using JUVEDERM.
in that case, any INFini RF Will not effect this type of filler right?
thanks
I think this thread on realself addresses your question. https://www.realself.com/question/orange-county-ca-infini-after-fillers
@Deirdre080690Sounds like your doctor knows what to do. Yes you should be fine.
@motherofms " The heat from Infini will negativelyaffect the duration of fillers placed INTHEDERMIS. If the filler is placed beneath the dermis as it is in many cases, the filler is unaffected. " ---- Exactly what I said above ;-P
I had a sneak peak of a research paper that will be released early next year to dispel this Filler Vs Laser Vs RF microneedling. Its a blinded biopsy controlled study that was taken from 6 specimens, all human subjects (with ethics committee consent, so its not a Kazistan- Ukraine study). Dr Steve Weiner knows about it, and it essentially confirms his theory of the the 70 degrees short duration of heat vs the sterilisation of HA fillers at over 120 degrees for several minutes (as HA is made from bacteria). So, even at superficial depths, HA itself is not degraded. If HA is loss, its not via degradation but via transepidermal channels - namely HA is squeezed out via 'holes' from the physical act of needling. This is a commonly asked question that is not well answered by Specialist with no controlled papers to date on human skin.
