I spoke to Novick about a week ago and he seems like the best of the best IMO. I truly think Novick knows exactly what he is doing and I don't think you will find a better doctor. He has performed an an estimated 100,000 subcisions over the course of like 25 years or something. That in itself gives me confidence especially that there are so few bad reviews on him out there. Once I save up the money I will most likely be making a trip over to israel to get subcision/filler done over there as it's a fraction of the cost. If you have spare time available I'd ask him about that. From my two years of research he is definitely one of my top 3 choices across the globe.
I think so... Novick has a good approach to scars, and like a few dermatologist out there are sceptical to the marketing of laser companies. Subcsion is a fine line... very fine line... aggressive subcision can result in good improvement of anchored, tethered scars as well as rolling acne scars. The flip side is that it can cause excessive haematoma and seroma formation. I understand this is not a major problem as this can be corrected. I would like to see how Novick uses his techniques on video.. would be interesting seeing how dermatologists and plastic perform this procedure.

Yes I got treatments done from both Novick and Rullan. If you want to get subcision + HA filler, go to Novick. Just make sure you ask him the price ahead of time.
If you want subcision only, TCA Cross, sculptra, HA fillers, permanent fillers, lasers, vbeam, deep chemical peels, chemabrasion go to Rullan.
For my kind of scarring, Rullan was better as he got more variety of treatments, but he never forced any treatment on me.
Novick doesnt have lasers/ RF microneedling because he only works 1.5 to 2 weeks per month in NYC. It wont be cost effective for him. Thats why he speaks against them. At the end of the end he is a shrewd businessman.
