Hi. I had a terrible wound from a pimple and it healed and left a giant hole in my cheek along with some terrible hyper pigmentation on top and around the hole. I need this fixed asap. I went to the derm and she said i don't really have any options so that made me upset but its negatively affecting me so much. i literally won't leave my room without makeup on and even that does a crappy job because its still a hole. any advice please. Ive been putting Mederma on it overnight but its not doing anything (its been about 3 weeks now)

Early days as scars remodel over 6-12 months. Plan- 1. Sunscreen and avoidance. This reduces the chances of PIH, 2. Treatments. Time will tell, but its easier to remodel early scars. With the depression it suggest atrophy. If you elect CO2 or erbium fractional laser than atrophy will be better, but PIH potentially worse. Hence may I put forth energy based RF with insulation. Insulation reduces PIH. Add PRP after RF microneedling. Do 2-4 sessions.. 3. Photography 2 weeks after each treatment to see progression. 4. What ever is left (atrophy wise), dermal HA filler. 5. PIH or skin colour changes can be treated with pico lasers. Picosure can also remodel early acne scars.

I'm not sure if you're still active, but were you able to resolve this? How did you resolve it?
