Hi all,
I'm going to be microneedling my acne scars when my derminator gets here. I have a small dent in between my eyebrows (glabella), and I was wondering if there were any special precautions that I should be taking before needling this region. I ask because I heard that the nose is not a good place to needle due to its lack of fat pads, and injuries in the nose often do not heal well. I was wondering if the glabella region had the same problem.
It seems that the owndoc manual suggests using 1.5mm for glabella needling, which is as long as the needles recommended for the cheeks. I'm guessing this should mean that it is fine to needle that region, but I wanted to hear about other people's experiences. Especially beautifulambition, who has a tremendous amount of knowledge and insight in this field.
Thanks!
Should be fine, it's a "small" dent. Derminator is safe, (most of the time what I refer to is further down the nose) what I am afraid of with you is the possibility of spreading bacteria / infection due to the other posts you have made . Make sure your using fresh needles and clean your face for only this spot.
@beautifulambition Thank you. Will do. What posts are you referring to?
