I don't have horrible acne, I get the occasional pimple here and there. I got this one about 4 months ago and It hasn't gone away! It is dead center in the middle of my cheek and it is so red. I can't really tell if it is a scar (hypertrophic) or hyperpigmentation? It's not completely flat but it is not bumpy like a pimple as well. I thought I would ask this forum before going to a dermatologist.
I am so close to getting my dream of clear skin, if i can just get rid of it. I've been on the acne.org regimen for about a month now and I haven't really seen improvement on regards to that one area (on the rest of my face I have), I've recently started using the AHA treatment as well, for about 2 weeks now, but it still doesn't seem to be fading. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Good luck to everyone on their journey!
drink herbal teas daily, they heal and prevent acne
honeybrush, red raspberry leaf, milk thistle, nettle
drink 30 min before meal for better results, avoid taking same time with other drugs
try washing face with raw honey in the morning
try applying acne treatment every other day, they'll work better
always finish with cold water
drink buttermilk/kefir daily, good for gut flora and better skin
raw eating cures any skin disease! start eating more fruits and vegetables!
organic dairy and meat makes a huge difference!! i know from my own experience

Thank you, I will definitely give these a try! Did you have an opinion on whether it's a scar or hyper pigmentation?
This is either PIE or PIH, I am a bit concerned from the raised nature of it, are you sure its not hypertophic / keloid? I would definitely have a derm look at it. For Hyperpigmentation treatments.Test and treatments in skin section of the faq > PIE / PIH. You might needle laser or steroids here. If it won't go away from honey and aloe or basic treatments. Hydroquinone aka skin bleach and vitamin c serum.
