A little over a month ago I woke up for a large, inflamed pimple directly on the bridge of my nose. I made the mistake of popping the pimple than applied neosporin every night hoping it would heal. Well fast forward a month and I've been left with a scar that is white/pink and still red around the edges. I'm assuming the redness will fade over time but I'm worried the scar itself has lost pigmentation and will never go back to my normal skin tone. Has anyone had a similar scar and are there any treatment options available to make it less noticeable or am I stuck like this forever?
@HGaudio1995The nose is a difficult spot to heal, it is not like the rest of the face, it's very oily, has less veins and skin like structures, It's cartilage also.
If it's depressed subcision will help with filler.
Some people have lasered the area to blend with the surrounding
Others have used TCA to spot peel the area and again blend in with the surrounding.
We have several treatments for hypopigmentation (loss of pigment), look for this under skin section, you can find as well as acid peel info in the below faq in my signature

I really appreciate the help. I know it being a scar it I'll never fully heal but do you think with professional treatment there is hope to make it atleast not noticeable?
@HGaudio1995Of course. If it's red do vbeam or quadrostar pro for pigmentation issues.
