Laser Treatment

I have significant scaring (atrophic, boxcar, and icepick) on my cheeks and chin. Over the years I have tried manytreatment options(subscision, HA fillers, microneedling, PRP, peels) with little to no improvement. As I am aging, the scars are more apparent. I have seen seven different dermatologist looking for recommendations for what to try next. They have ALL recommended lasers. I have been seriously considering fractional CO2 for some time now. While I know there are some risks and many here are against it, I am looking for a bit of improvement. For those who have had laser treatment, please share your best advice for recovery.

You can have further fat loss from laser. If you would like send me through private message or on here a pic of your scars. I can't believe nothing has given you some improvement. There must be a underlying cause, hence the pic would help with recommendation.

CO2 the kind you want has down time for up to 3 months, and can take possibly more for the collagen to show up. Some doctors are coupling it with other lasers or prp treatments. The big thing now is prp and infini rf. This takes 3 treatments. Unless you have drastic laser with this type of scarring multiple times it won't give you huge percentages of improvement. Dr. Lim in AUS is a expert in this, Jason Emer in LA also uses multiple lasers at once.

HA did nothing for your scars? Is that because of the length of it lasting or the look and if so how?

I can't believe a strong phenol peel which takes the skin depth down would not help.
Also dermabration sands the skin down and softens the scar, this is used on burn victims and accidents, also after face lifts, it must be done by a facial plastic surgeon who knows when enough is enough / attention to detail.

Send a pic when you can show me the shadows the scars make, sometimes with a flashlight or indirect light.

Bellafill would be a option permanently if the HA metabolizes. I fear fat would do the same thing for you. I really like sculptra throughout the face layered with HA and subcision on the spots. TCA Cross is of course of icepicks.

They don't want to offer peels because $$$$ for lasers and they are quick.

I may have some solutions for you for dermabration if you tell me your country. A deep TCA or phenol would be better than laser in my opinion, may take a few. I would not goto the doctor who recommends laser, or tell him no you want a peel if you must goto him.
