I had deep acne inflamation that turned into a hard bump under the skin since years.after that my derm injected cortisone inside it, what made like "an atrophy inside the bump".And now I am gonna do microneedling, the derm said there is not problem needling the bump.Do you agree?
If your derm said it was ok go for it. It's more likely scar tissue or a encapsulated wound under the skin. I don't see microneedling doing much for it but give it a try. I think doctors either use laser to zap these, excise them and close wound (remove some scar tissue), or do cortisone again.
