Hello, 
I had a major breakout 5 months ago that is mostly controlled, but I'm now left with redness and scarring.  I would like to know more about the severity of my scars, the types of scars I have, and what products/routine I should follow to reduce redness and scarring.  Thanks.

Those are not scars they are PIE or PIH if they do not go away temporarily when pressed on. For treatments see my below link in my signature to the FAQ and look in the skin section for PIE. These marks unless hyerpigmentation are often part of the body healing itself.
