Laser damage from Cool breeze or Picosure facial laser?

Hello,
It was recommended I get 3 treatments of Coolbreeze and treatments of Picosure facial laser for large pores and acne scarring.
I'm very afraid of getting laser resurfacing and having fat atrophy. Has anyone heard of this happening with either of these lasers?

Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I had 4 treatments with the Picosure- not sure how much good it did, but I do believe I got some hypopigmentation after in certain spots. Could have been due to my less than stringent application of sunscreen though.

My best advice to you is have the doctor do a test spot and see how you react. That way you are not doing your whole face. I do know the Picosure is less than Fraxel, 3 of Fraxel equals one Picosure. It's causes warming of the skin in quick bursts. It is not like CO2. Coolbreeze does a similar thing using cooling. We all react differently, laser is a gamble. Minimize your chances through doing test spots or small areas to start with. I have heard of possible hyperpigmentation (taken care of with skin bleach) but not atrophy with those devices, the Celsius just isn't high enough compared to CO2.

Thank you both for the replies! Do you know anything about TheWhisper dry laser peel causing atrophy? It was recommended to me by an aesthetician. Would it have a better chance treating scarring?

Thanks!
