Hi all, I've been researching about Derma rolling...I've got rolling scarring on the left side of my cheek and some ice pick scars on my nose and faint ones across my cheeks.. I bought a 1mm derma roller & 20% Vitamin C Serum Organic 60ml Vitamin E Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer Sensitive Skin Anti Aging Wrinkles & Spots. Its just one bottle I was going to use after rolling. Thought maybe this could help my scaring, I've been reading from this forum peoples success so thought I would try this...is there any advice I should take before going ahead later?

I have had lazer but I have found I have had the best results by needling. I started off with a 1.5mm and then moved onto 2.0mm. I was quite brutal with my rolling and my face looked horrible and I bled a lot but the results speak for themselves. The more damage you do, the better the results.
I use to needle every month and did so for about a year. I then stopped needling all together and a year later, I can see a massive difference in my face. Yes it took that long to see improvements but I am extremely happy with the results.
You cannot expect miracles but you will see an improvement.

My first derma roll went really well, my skin feels so much better, and the scarring looks slightly improved but only a touch but the improvement is there as the days go by, woke up this morning feeling really happy, but I had been getting a few spots around my scarring on my left cheek but nothing to drastic so I thought i'd ride it out...I have been taking small doses of Accutane for the last 5 years to keep my acne under control and it worked, but I stopped taking it 4 weeks ago, I thought i'd turned a corner and no longer needed it but I've got home from work today and where I have the bit of scarring there is quite a few spots built up in such a short time, i'm quite gutted about this, and think if I don't get some very soon my face will start to get worse... I'm quite gutted cause I defo think the dermarolling is a massive helpfor the scarring but if I begin to get acne coming back then i'll have to stop doing it until i'm cleared
