My ice pick scars has gotten wider but shallower through various chemical peels and 2 mixto laser so i was wondering should i just carry on with lasers or do tca cross instead? Lasers are quite expensive and i'm afraid if my scars keep on getting wider. But I'm not so sure if my scars are deep and narrow enough to be able to do tca cross. The black marks are from test patches of tca cross 70% and i have a few spots with acne sometimes.
The idea of tca is to widen the pit and hopefully boost the skin underneath to a shallower depth after several applications. I see the redness is PIE, please see the belowFAQ for more about this.You could do a full face TCA and microneedle when that heals. The deep pits will be best helped with TCA Cross. TCA cross would be best for this. The mixto will do nothing for it. Please be careful with TCA cross. I don't think you should be using 70%, try diluting to like 50% and testing too high can lead to complications in some skin types, I can't tell if the dark mark is a hyperigmentation reaction.

Thanks for the response! The scabs from the tca just fully dropped off and luckily they seem fine. I probably won't go higher than 70% as i am brown skin. Thanks for the information and feedback, i'll be going with a full face TCA cross next week. Hopefully there will be improvement even if it takes quite some time.
