I was in Vietnam on vacation during the summer. My mom convinced me to go to this Dermatologist there to treat my acne. What the dermatologist did was she got out some tweezers or something, started probing into my skin with it, and started taking out the white stuff in my acne. My acne was gone for about a week but then started coming back. Fast forward to a few months later (today), not only has my acne came back but red dots started appearing in place of some of the acne that I scratched. So my questions are was the red dots caused by the treatment or me scratching the acne off, is it going to be permanent, and what steps should I take at this point? I know your can't make good answers due to your not knowing what it looks like and stuff but I'd appreciate your trying anyways. Thank you for reading and/or helping!

sounds normal. plenty of videos on youtube of derms doing that.

Red marks WILL fade. the question is when. It could take anywhere between 3 months to a full year.
