Hey you!
Since you are on this site, I'm assuming that you, just like me, are living with acne or acne scars/marks on your face and that you are seeking treatments for it. And I also know that acne can have a big effect on your self esteem, social anxiety, and mood. So I'm writing this to all of you who are depressed, sad, worried, anxious or hopeless because of your acne or scars. Your acne is not who you are. Nor does it define you in any way! You just simply have spots on your skin. That's it. Since you are reading this, you most likely live in a very favorable condition and you have access to the internet. That's great! Isn't it?! You are alive. You most likely have food, shelter and some people you can count on. And really that's all you need. You might go out in public and keep your head low; in fear that people are judging your face, rating your acne, calling you ugly. But the truth is, they don't care enough about you to care about your acne. Look at it this way, you see yourself everyday so of course you know all your flaws and imperfections, and you think that when other people look at you, they see exactly what you see. But that's not true! Most people won't even notice your acne, it's a pretty common thing! And if they do see it and they think in their heads, "Omg, look at his/her face", they'll only think about it for a few seconds and pass on worrying about their own insecurities. Guys. We only have one life. And no way in hell are you gonna waste it depressing over your skin. I want you to get up and be strong and be able to do everything you want to do without caring what people think of you. You know you have acne or scars and if people see you then they'll know too. But it's just a thing. It doesn't define your beauty, your values, your intelligence, or your life! IT ONLY DEFINES YOUR BEAUTY, YOUR VALUES, YOUR INTELLIGENCE AND YOUR LIFE IF YOU LET IT. NOW GO STAND IN FRONT OF THE MIRROR. OBSERVE EVERY SQUARE OF YOUR FACE. AND TELL YOURSELF WITH PRIDE AND STRENGTH AND MEANINGFULNESS, : "I AM BEAUTIFUL" CUZ YOU FUCKING HELL ARE.
