Hey I was just wondering if anybody has tried anything for their acne scars that has worked. I recently finished accutane 4 months ago. Attached is what my acne looked around when it was worse and what my scars look like now. They have not gotten much better since I finished accutane. Is there anyway to at least reduce the redness? Thank you

you cant. youre stuck with them forever. im not trying to be rude, its just he sad truth. You CAN improve them if you are lucky and are rolling in dough, and even then you take huge risks such as making things worse, no improvement, permanent damage to the color of your skin, lumps, etc. and no if that stuff happens they do not refund you.

You need to wait a bit longer before getting any treatments, 6 - 12 months after finishing accutane is recommended.Focus on the scars first, the redness is very likely to continue improving over time. In addition to that, many treatments you may want for the scars can introduce more redness.

How deep are these scars on your left cheek? If they are as deep as they appear, there are some surgical options that may be able to significantly improve them.

A couple of them are really deep and I've lost all hope in helping those but the others are not too deep and I'm still holding out hope that they will improve overtime.

Yeah they look pretty deep, just wanted to be sure it wasn't the shadows and discoloration making it look worse. Research punch excision and punch float, I think you could make some huge improvements in those deep scars with these treatments. If you think these treatments are worth considering, make sure you find a great doctor. I expect the skill of the doctor is the biggest factor.

Hi, I'm new here. I'm sorry but you can't reduce quickly the redness. You've to use spf50+ cream because with sun your redness could become brown :-O ....

PS I'm italian, Forgive me if I write something wrong. LOL
