So, starting this year, I've gotten pimples frequently. They're usually large, and easily visible. About 6 months ago, I got a large pimple directly between my eyes. I was extremely embarrassed, it looked like I had three eyes. I used Clearasil wipes fervently, like 10 or 15 wipes a day. The wipes dried up my skin and the skin around my pimple started flaking and peeling. I stopped using the Clearasil, and the pimple went away, but left a huge indent (clearly visible) directly between my eyes. It really bugs me, but I've learned to live with it, hoping it'd go away. It's been about 6 months now, and the indent is still there. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? If not, will it go away or at least improve on its own? If so, how long will it take? Thanks in advance guys :D

Moved to the scar treatments section :)

Yes superficial scars do soften over time, however it may not be significant enough for you to be satisfied with. You said you're able to live with it though, so I wouldn't really worry about it if I were you. Everyones has their flaws, no one is perfect man :)

A close up pic of your scar would help us givebetter suggestions. Consider also posting on RealSelf for doctor's opinions. It really depends on thescar but some possibilities to look into are: subcision, TCA cross (50%+), TCA peel (25-35%) spot treatment, dermastamping (microneedling), spot dermabrasion/laser resurfacing once scar is level. In that area between the eyes specifically fillers can potentially cause blindness so careful with those and only see someone very experienced. If the scar tissueis really severe and has lost pigment (hypopigmented) and hair follicles you could even look into punch graft (scar is punched out and replaced with normal skin usually from behind the ear) followed by resurfacing to help blend and disguisenew circular scar 1-3 months after. That would likely be the treatment of last resort if the other methods aren't enough. You should be able to at least getsome improvement with the methods best suited for your scar. Good luck and keep us posted!

If the scar is minor (depending on pic) you could get a prescription for retinoids (retin-a, tazorac, etc.) and apply those to speed up healing and help promote collagen. Also good for future pimples instead of Clearasil.
