My cheeks tho seem to be really resistant and i cant cure the redness and the red marks that i ve got for more than 4-5 months now. I ll attach some pics to let you know my situation and any help would be highly appreciated!!

I am lucky btw cus i believe my skin is scarless.

Forgot to mention the brown skin you may notice is flaky one since i m using bp

I don't want to burst your bubble, but i realy do think you have a few scars there. I can be wrong, it is always difficult to judge from pictures. Concerning the redness, I only see some slight redness on you cheeks, near your nose. That, however, is not hyperpigmentation, it looks more like a healthy blush to me. Is it possible that what you describe as redness or marks are actually the shadows from some indented scars?

Actually i may have some scars thats true but i think they are not really noticable.Secondly is it normal to get redness on my cheeks meanwhile i had not while i was acne free? I started using glycolic by the way to see how its working hope it gonna help me otherwise are there any other effective treament that you can suggest for my case? Lastly wanted to ask how bad do you think it is because i think we always criticize ourselves worse than we should (my acne is only on my cheeks every other part of my face and body is totally clear)

I don't think your scars are that bad. The redness is not bad either, and i think most of it is not acne related. For the redness that is acne related there are a few home remedies that are proven to work. The first is retin a (tretinoin cream) which, if used over a longer period of time, can also help to reduce your scarring a little. The second is a vitamin c serum. You need a good quality since the ph level is very important as well as the percentage of vitamin c. Vitamin c serums can be used in conjunction with the other options. Third, chemical peels, like glycolic acid, which you are already doing.

But i realy think a lot of you redness is natural and just a sign of health. What you can do about it? Start smoking and quit exercising, this will reduce the blood flow (i'm kidding, don't try that)

™ am going to use the glycolic acid for now i am gonna give it some time hope its gonna work otherwise i ll ask my dermatologist any of those u suggested.

As for the redness i find really true what you saying because by the time i started eating a lot healthier (a lot carrots, melons) mainly veggies and fruits my skin tone and reduced my acne breakouts to a point and now breakouts occur rarely and i can really handle them easily. Thanks for your help by the way :)
