Hi, so in the past year I've had extremely bad acne, i'm talking really bad , however now i'm on Accutane/isotretinoin it's getting better, however my problem is redness. I no longer have many spots but I do have really bad redness on my cheeks.

So I was wondering if somebody could please tell me what my redness is in the photos, like is it Hyperpigmentation, inflammination or red marks etc. My derm said they was scars but I'm pretty sure that's nonsense as this is just redness isn't permanent as far as i'm aware. This is not say for example an ice pick scar.

Things to note

-I'm on my third month of Accutane

-I had redness BEFORE taking Accutane

-19 years old so I might still be going through puberty or what not.

So please could somebody tell me what the redness is and if it's treatable with creams or oils.
