Hi guys, i just suffered from adult chicken pox. Afterwards there are raised bumps from some of the marks. I wonder if this could be categorized as keloid? What's the best treatment for this scar? Could i get the keloid injection treatment?TIA

How long has it been since your resent infection with the virus? Those still look very active, and will dissipate with time. DO NOT mess with them, no itching no vigorous rubbing. Maybe apply some very soothing lotions.. calamine? Aloe? But be very gentle, those definitely do not appear to be keloid scaring unless this is quite long after the treatment

it's been 9months since i had the virus. it's red since my derm prescribe me a formulated ointment that contains Salicylic Acid and hydrocortisone cream on it. they were flat before but after few months becomes a bit bumpy. i feel partly because i was aggresively putting on skincare to reduce the hyperpigmentation but it's too rich hence the raised bumps :(

I would say hypertrophic scars since keloid get increasingly large and expand beyond the margins of the original area. You can try silicone scar sheets that you can buy literally anywhere, or have cortisone shot to flatten them. Vascular lasers also help with redness and flattening as well.
