Hi, I've been a lurker here for a long time. I'm completely obsessed about my skin, trying this and that for my acne scars. I've been depressed about my skin many times and I think many of you feel the same. I've always thought the "no one will think of your scars" is complete bullshit. But today I had kind of a revelation. I've been an internet dweller for quite some time, so I've seen many stupid memes. It struck me that Morpheus, a.k.a. Laurence Fishburne has acne scarring. I've seen this picture countless of times and I honestly never thought of his scars until today, because I've become so obsessed with my own scars. I don't know if any of you feel the same way, but I just wanted to share this with everyone. It made my day a little bit better.
and it certainly didn't slow him down....it's all about the attitude- perhaps he had a rough time as a youth, but who knows?
I've always wished some popular tv personality with obvious acne scars would share their story- and I'm talking obvious scars, not Adam Levine type
But in general it's true, we are so tough on ourselves and obsess over things that others glance at

Couldn't agree more! Attitude is EVERYTHING!
Huh, you're right! Man, he's such a great actor too. Guess it just goes to show that you need to put what's on the inside ahead on what's on the outside, and not let other people tell you otherwise. For people who don't know the meme (or picture) SC is referring to, here it is! (Also a picture of Mr. Fishburne, which his scars are shown much clearer in)
