Hello everyone,
I just got this very weird rolling scars on my left cheek, arising from who-knows what. I am really worried about it as everyone is making fun of me for this. I am using TactuPump for about 2 months ago. I bought 0.5 Dermaroll and used it yesterday but afraid that it will not do anything. I am so worried
Can anything be done? Is it permanent?
Thanks
Yes that looks a small boxcar scar which looks like it could be permanent as I have some of those for 20+ years. It looks as though you still have active acne? Am I wrong? If not, you should not be using any derma-rolling or microneedling your skin with active acne currently as you can create even more permanent scars & damage your skin more. Please go see a dermatologist to treat your acne first to get it under control.
Also wanted to add, You can also get permanent scars without picking your skin. Sometimes the inflamation from acne does not heal fast enough or correctly and that could leave some scarring. Please see dermatologist as red marks that do not heal right away can leave ice-picks,boxcars, rolling scars & hyperpigmentation marks.
Thanks everyone!
I never knew that you should not be using derma roller on acnes. Glad I only used it once! I am seeing dr. and he has prescribed me with Tactu Pump. It looks like I still have active acne.
Since I am in Canada, we don't get to see dermatologist unless physicians refer them to patients. SO I am only seeing my family physician.
Arv, Please tell your Physician ASAP to get you a referral so you can see a Dermatologist right away. So that way they can control and clear the bacteria that's inside your skin. Please DON'T GO to no MedSpa, but a Derm. okay?
Microneedling, derma-rolling, Lasers, should only be done once your acne is under control where you rarely if ever get break outs anymore. The People who do dermaroll is for the acne scarring, not the acne breakouts. Continuing to do derma-roll while still having acne could cause very high risks chances of spreading the bacteria(underneath the skin) to cause more scarring all over the face.
Yes for sure. I will go see my Dr and have him refer me to a Dermatologist as my acne had not clearing despite being on Benzo Pump for 2 months now...not seeing any difference.
I only used derma roller once and never used it again after reading here. I did not know that I am not supposed to be using derma roller on acne skin oopsy
Very surprising to see strangers on website being so much nicer than family and friends, who called my face 'ugly'
Thanks everyone!
i need help to reduce my acne scar on my face. Before this, i already had a very BAD acne. But after almost 1++ year get the treatment in skin speacialist, my acne is cured but it left a scar that for me very bad. Anyone can suggest me how i overcome this acne scar problem?
I went to see my physicians so hopefully soon I will be seeing a dermatologist as it is a long process here in Canada.
@ 1nov, these marks were there before I used derma roller so I believe derma roller did not cause it. I bought Derma roller after seeing the scar appeared. I had used it afterward only once, probably as light as possible. I will wait until I no longer have active acne before using it again.
Hello
I thought I will do an update here; I will not get to see Dermatologist until December. I am in Canada so we have to get a referral via Physician to see any specialist and this usually take a lot of time.
Now I am not even sure what types of scars I have....anyone??? These are my cheeks photo as I am not comfortable sharing my face photo. Hopefully, I am not recognized by those mean people who bully me so much!
But I have been on Tactupump for more than 4 months now. Things are hopefully going good but still being so much bullied for 'bad skin'...arr I wish our look was not something we were judged on...wish I was a dog!
So far, I have tried 2% BHA, glutathione, kojic acid, 0.5 mm dermaroller and Tactupump.
Any feedback will be appreciate...thanks you so much in advanced.
I would appreciate any feedback on this! Thank you so much in advance.
So far I have tried Tactupump, glutathion and kojic acid as well as 2% BHA...
