Kind of a weird question but thought some one here could help me. My face is scarred and it looks best/healthiest when its hydrated so i put an spf 15 lotion on it everyday. however, in direct lighting this almost amplifies my scarring as they all appear shiny. any suggestions? I'm thinking of maybe switching lotions (something without the spf? would this be less shiny?). does any one have any recommendations? any help would be awesome!
Maybe those oil absorbing sheets would help a bit? I am not sure, though. They work great if my skin is oily, but I never tried them to de-shine from moisturizer. And if you are a man you probably wont want to but I put on a translucent powder when I look shiny from moisturizer and it helps to make my skin look matte. I do think though maybe a lotion without spf would be less shiny, because personally I feel that anything with spf always feels/looks greasy to me. Maybe a moisturizer without any oil or one that is supposed to control shine? I have never tried it but maybe something similar to this
Good luck!
