Dude... this is crazy but i got rid of two of mine on my jawline by first massaging them, basically pinching them and then rubbing and twisting (any motion to rip up the thick fibrous tissue) and then I got it injected monthly for 2 months, while continuing to pinch and "massage" them.. they are gone. Except for one... this one is an angry one. .
Hard to treat, hence differing options
1. As above
2. Silicone with massage
3. Kenalog injections
4. 5Fu injections
5 Low density , high power CO2 kenalog drip under occlusion (newer technique)
6. Excision with XRT.
7. Kenalog with Botox (papers by Dr W. Wu, Singapore- best for dumbbell keloids , may work for tensions jawline ones)
Silicone dressings with 1-6. Like I said, can be vvv difficult to treat, 6-10 sessions over time. See some one who does scars most of the time, not just the occasional hypertrophic or keloid scar but treat 4-5 of these on a daily basis. This way you will not have conflicting ideas. Good guys who do scars always work in a team. Derm, plastics and radiation oncologist for keloids, its the team work that will get you there.
