Hello, If anyone who has had successful subcision and or filler to scars in California please let me know who you'd recommend. I've explored all dermatologists locally in southern CA as well as further north and south and can't find anyone with glaringly bad reviews. Personally i prefer a plastic surgeon but afraid they may not be as experienced with subcision or lasers for facial scars specifically. I could try a million consults but can't afford dermatologist consult fees and wouldn't risk it unless i knew someone whose had good results.

Snowflake, what comments did Rahimi make in response to reviews?

Blahblah, someone said they were going to go to another dermatologist and in my opinion he didn't respond in a humble way. Also among other things, someone said he had asked them to post a review on yelp. I don't feel comfortable with such doctors.

I think we can all agree that visiting a well established, sought out practice is the way to go, versus a recently established practice with a young dermatologist that is asking for reviews, is marketing useless FRAXEL or just ablative laser in general for scarring that wont benefit from it(Not referring specifically to Dr. Rahimi)

Unfortunately, dermatologist is a business.

Subcision is the way to go

Rahimi is far from young. He's at least in his late 40s, early 50s and probably has been in practice close to 20 years. I do agree that he has been marketing himself quite intensely to acne scarring patients.

You are from California! I go to dr Tien Nguyen in fountain valley/Irvine if you want to check him out. He's amazing with excisions and Jenny is wonderful with microneedling.
