Hello,
1) I'm having a hard time finding a good surgeon to perform co2 on a surgical scar. Could be a dermatologist too but yelp reviews for the few derms suggested here on acne.org have been bad. Please let me know. CO2 is serious business from what I understand and I need the person to be very adept at using that machine. Anywhere in southern CA would be preferred. Is co2 ok on olive skin? One derm told me no, 2 surgeons said yes.
2) Also I want it to be fully ablative and thought Deep fx is but I guess that is fractional only? I need the surface texture smoothed/blended, I don't want the machine to go deep inside. Which co2 machine does that?
Robert, I would but everybody I've researched has had some pretty concerning reviews...especially dermatologists. I found a plastic surgeon but at this point can't afford ones with consult fees unless I have a direct recommendation from some people, I'm not willing to risk 15 minutes of time for $200 to be faced with another doctor with a condescending attitude.
Yeah Persevering, I won't give up looking. If you hear of anyone please let me know too. Thanks.
